This IT company in New York City started as an inkling of appreciation towards technology. It was the summer of 1983, and all Steven Chan wanted was an Atari 5200 video game console like every kid on the block (growing up in Queens, NY population density dictated that is at least 54 kids). 20 years later, GenX Tech Solutions was born out of that moment. Steven’s newfound curiosity and delight in technology led to a true passion for making technology bend to his whims, and it’s that passion that leads our team. It’s guided us for the last 11 years in providing IT services for our clients that aren’t just about the basic numbers: they’re about helping people discover how their IT can transform the way they do business.
Why We Do This Crazy Thing
Our team members didn’t turn to IT support because other career paths just didn’t pan out. This isn’t just your standard IT company in New York City. This is more than a vocation: it’s a way of life. Our day isn’t defined by any particular number on the clock – we work at the problems we find until they’re solved, not just because we want to satisfy our clients, but also because we need to satisfy our own determination.
We’re discovering something new about information technology all the time, and it never fails to fascinate us. That fascination always works out to the benefit of the businesses we work with, letting us constantly re-evaluate the offerings we provide and keep improving our solutions for their technology.
